This group of students read The Lemonade War by Jacqueline Davies, a story about a brother and sister who get into an argument and settle it by competing to sell the most lemonade. As a final project, students in this guided reading group were divided into four groups to compete in their own lemonade war. Students collaborated to create their own business plan, advertisements, commercials, and marketing strategies. This group worked hard and eagerly to bring their visions to life and sell the most lemonade to their peers at Darien Elementary. All proceeds will be donated to the Lakeland Animal Shelter. #cometproud
