Delavan-Darien High School is excited to welcome our incoming freshman students, the Class of
2027! We have planned a freshman only experience prior to the school year beginning, on Tuesday, August 29th. Students will have the opportunity to meet some of their teachers, get their schedules, learn about several opportunities (including clubs, activities & sports) available at DDHS, and socialize with their peers. We will provide a light snack to all students.
Free transportation to and from the high school from Wileman Elementary & Darien Elementary will be offered. Buses will pick students up at Wileman at 10:30, and Darien at 10:40. Students will be dropped off at Darien at 1:10, and at Wileman at 1:20 in the afternoon. Students may choose to ride the bus, or be dropped off at Delavan-Darien High School at 10:50 AM. Students should dress
comfortably and be prepared with a pen. If your child is not riding the bus home, they may be picked up at 1 PM from the high school.
Additionally, we are inviting all families to join us at our Welcome Back to School - Open House, on Tuesday evening, August 29, from 5-7 PM at Delavan-Darien High School. Students and parents will be able to meet and greet their teachers.
Finally, if you haven’t registered your students for the current academic year, please do so
immediately. You will need to access the parent portal on Infinite Campus. If a parent/guardian does not have their username or password, they should contact a building administrator or administrative assistant to obtain this and get their child/children registered. Please note, fees can be paid online or in person, and need to be paid in full for students to participate in athletics or activities.

- Tuesday, October 17 - Parent / Teacher Conferences (4 p.m. until 8 p.m.)
- Friday, October 20 - No School (Teacher InService)
