Delavan-Darien High School (9-12)

DDHS Senior, Fred Krablean, volunteered to support the Metals I classes to provide welding demonstrations for students that have never been exposed to the welding process. Mr. Krablean pulled together the welding group to show them how the arc welding process works and how it is applied to the real world. Fred worked with each group as they practiced striking an arc and welding for the first time. Fred is currently enrolled in the Gateway Technical College Welding Academy and will be graduating from the academy this year with a Welding/Maintenance & Fabrication Technical Diploma while still attending high school. We would like to thank Fred Krablean for volunteering his time to work with his fellow classmates and promoting welding as a career pathway.
