Delavan-Darien High School’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) organization learns how to operate the T-Shirt and Vinyl printing presses, with lessons from Michael Rick, CTE Coordinator & Tech Ed Teacher, and Ben Herland, Physical Education Teacher. These presses were bought before the pandemic but not utilized to their full potential due to COVID-19.
These machines will be used for items sold in Comets Corner, the school store that is open daily, and operated by the FBLA organization. They are located in the Business Lab, a room dedicated to learning more about business careers, in which a Podcast Booth is also available for student learning and use.
FBLA is a career and technical student organization (CTSO) dedicated to preparing students for careers in business.
The Business Education department is committed to providing students with college and career readiness skills. For more information about the business education courses offered at DDHS, visit here.
