Delavan-Darien High School is excited to welcome our incoming freshmen at our annual Freshman First Day event on Monday, August 30, 2021, from 8-11:30 AM.
Orientation will be led by our team of school counselors, administration, high school faculty, and peer mentors. Students will receive their schedules and have an opportunity to participate in several fun activities with your mentors, meet their teachers and administrators, tour the building to find their classes, and will end morning with a lunch provided by the District.
Parents may drop-off their child before 8 AM, and pick them up after 11:30 AM, or a bus will be provided which will pick up students at Wileman at 7:28 AM (dropping them off there at 11:50 AM) and at Darien Elementary at 7:38 AM (dropping them off there at 11:40 AM). Masks are optional while in the high school, but they are required if and while riding the bus.
