📣 Three 5th-grade students from Phoenix Middle School competed against five other Math 24 teams on March 13. The tournament was held at Beloit-Turner School District. Math 24 is a multi-district tournament using the card game Math 24. Students in 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th grade compete to earn cards of varying points, based on their level of difficulty. Levels of competition include single digits, double digits, integers and exponents, and fractions and decimals. The fifth graders used double digits for their level.
💙 Natalie Turner received a first-place ribbon for the highest score.
💛 The other two members of the team were Alyana Gebauer and James Halvorson. Congratulations to all mathletes! Job well done.
