We are excited to share that one of our 6th-grade students, Teresa Ortega Bernal won the Wisconsin Association for Bilingual Education (WIABE) Middle School Art Contest! Teresa’s drawing was chosen from all of the Middle School entries across the State! In addition, this year's theme was: United Through Language and Culture, Unidos A Través del Lenguaje Y La Cultura. Teresa's art piece will be framed by the Walker’s Point Center for the Arts in Milwaukee and displayed in their art studio. The art piece will also be on display this summer at the Walker’s Point Art Festival in Milwaukee! Congratulations Teresa! ¡Felicidades!
