Automotive Service Fundamentals I is an entry level course with an introduction to automobile ownership. It will give students hands-on exposure to tools, equipment, basic maintenance and costs associated with owning a car. Students will understand the importance of safety procedures when performing routine maintenance and repair tasks. Students will be involved in activities that provide for the development of team building and problem solving skills used to make responsible and informed decisions as auto consumers. This entry-level course is designed to help students gain confidence in automobile ownership and recognize the many career paths available in the transportation industry.
