Course Information:
In this course, students will learn the theory of four-cycle engines, fuel systems, lubrication systems, ignition systems and the tools associated with small engines. This is a hands-on course where students disassemble a four-cycle engine, diagnose common engine problems, and reassemble the engine. Additionally, students will learn to be proficient small engine consumers as they learn routine maintenance procedures for common small engines. Students have the opportunity to earn college credits through Gateway Technical College for this course.
