📣 We are so proud to share this wonderful news with everyone: Milagros Marely Armenta Valle, a current Dual Language DDHS Sophomore has won 1st place in the high school essay competition for NABE (National Association for Bilingual Educators). 💛 The Essay Topic was: How Being Bilingual Will Assist Me in My Future Endeavors. Milagros' essay was the only one chosen out of hundreds of entries. Her essay was chosen by an independent group of judges who are all educators from around the nation. This is an exceptional honor for Milagros, her family, our staff, our program and our District. 💙✈️ Milagros will be traveling to New Orleans, Louisiana in March to read her essay at the NABE Conference. We truly have something very special here at Delavan-Darien School District. Now the entire Nation will know it. Congratulations Milagros!
