Delavan-Darien High School is excited to announced that we will be hosting Homecoming 2021, "Neon Nights", the week of September 27 - October 2. Students will have dress-up days during the week (Monday - Pajama Day / Tuesday - Neon Day / Wednesday - Teacher/Student Swap Day / Thursday - Island Vibes / Friday - Class/School Colors). Wednesday will also entail our annual after school activities consisting of Girl's Powder Puff Football Games (4:30-6), followed by Boy's Volleyball Games (6-8). In addition to those after school activities on Wednesday evening, we will be hosting our traditional community pig roast from 4:30-6 PM, concurrently with the Powder Puff Game, in the north parking lot off of Hwy 11. We look forward to having community members and students join us for all the festivities!
Please be advised, as well, that our annual Homecoming Parade will occur on Friday, Oct. 1, beginning at 4 PM on the brick street downtown. We hope the community comes out Friday night to UW-Whitewater's Perkins Stadium as we host the Burlington Demons in our Friday night football competition. The Homecoming Dance, for students, will occur Saturday, Oct. 2 from 8-11 PM at DDHS. Tickets for the dance can only be purchased in advance, and sales conclude Thursday (9/30) at 3 PM.
