DDHS Automotive and Small Engine courses travel to Gateway Technical College

17 students from the DDHS Automotive and Small Engine courses traveled to Gateway Technical College to get a firsthand view of the Automotive, Powersport, and Welding programs offered at the Kenosha and Racine campuses. During this trip, Gateway instructor, Justin Hoffman explained how a career in the automotive industry can provide great opportunities for students who are willing to learn and work hard. During the Automotive program tour, GTC hosted a student competition to remove and replace a tire from a car.  Students competed against each other for chances to win Gateway and Snap-On apparel!  One of the many highlights of the trip was students being able to see Lake Michigan for the first time at the GTC Racine campus. It was a great field trip for everyone!

Thank you Gateway Technical College, Justin Hoffman, and Mr. Bell for providing this opportunity to our students and preparing them for the next level!
