Delavan-Darien High School is proud to recognize the following delegates for Badger Girls/Boys State for summer 2022. We are proud to have the following students represent DDHS at Badger State this year (pictured left to right): Felipe Leal & Ezekiel Rice (boys) and Anna Quartucci (girls).
Badger Girls were selected from applications and Badger Boys were selected via faculty nomination based on the following criteria:
· An interest in government and citizenship
· Leadership
· Good moral character
· Cooperativeness
· Dependability
· Participation in extracurricular activities
American Legion Auxiliary Badger Girls State (ALABGS) and American Legion Badger Boys State are week-long government/leadership conferences for young men and women in their junior year of high school (or senior year for 2022). Attendees of the programs will learn by doing as they become citizens of the fifty-first state, the state of Badger. D-DHS delegates will have the opportunity to run for offices on the city, county and state levels of government and will work together to make Badger the best state in the Nation.
